Dashboard Service Subscription

The above diagram presents a timeline of user interactions with the Weincloud Dashboard service, illustrating the various statuses that a user may experience: Unsubscribed, Subscribed, Expired, and Disabled.

The Dashboard service operates on a subscription basis managed through subscription. The following is a detailed description:

Subscription Card

A subscription card is used to generate a subscription. The subscription card can have three statuses:

  • Unused: Already linked to a subscription but has not yet been used.
  • In Use: The subscription card is currently being used.
  • Expired: The subscription card has expired.

Subscription

Each subscription can be assigned to one or more HMIs. Subscriptions are categorized based on the status of the subscription card:

  • Unsubscribed: The subscription card has expired for more than 3 months.
  • Unused: A subscription card has been added but is not yet assigned to an HMI.
  • Subscribed: There is an active subscription card in use.
  • Expired: The subscription card has expired, but the expiration date is within the last 7 days.
  • Disabled: The subscription card has expired, but the expiration date is within the last 3 months.

HMI Status

The subscription status of the HMI is categorized based on the linked subscription:

  • Unsubscribed: The HMI does not retain any historical data and cannot view past data.
  • Subscribed: The HMI operates normally and can save and view all historical data on Weincloud.
  • Expired: The HMI continues to operate normally, but users should renew the subscription within a 7-day grace period to prevent the HMI from entering a Disabled state.
  • Disabled: The HMI can still upload data, but Weincloud ceases to save the HMI's data, retaining only previously saved historical data. If the HMI is not re-subscribed during the disabled period, all stored historical data in Weincloud will be deleted after the 3-month Disabled period ends.

The table below provides a detailed explanation of the differences between each status:

The HMI status is influenced not only by the subscription status but also by the following situation:

Trial

First-time users of the Dashboard can opt for a 3-month free trial and convert to a formal subscription at any time if satisfied.

The status changes during the trial period are as follows:

The trial period provides the same capabilities as a formal subscription, with a slight limitation on the number of backups for historical data, restricted to 3 times per day:

Note

  • If no new subscription is added by the end of the 3-month free trial, the HMI will become [Unsubscribed].
  • The 3-month free trial can be activated when the status is [Unsubscribed], [Expired], or [Disabled].

EasyAccess 2.0

If EasyAccess 2.0 is activated, the HMI will have 20 Dashboard data source tags available but will not be able to save historical data.
